Okay.. In case got ppl complain 2 me tat ask me 2 update and due to mr. sim told 2 CM (Course Manager), thr4, i nid2 do a report..

On 3rd April 2009, Class EL0801P embarks on a journey to East Coast Park at the East side of Singapore.

We settled down on BBQ pit 64 Area F and we were getting ready for the BBQ at around 3:00PM.

We’ve bought a lot of food to BBQ, because it’s quite a lot of people coming to our BBQ, including our V.I.P Mr. Sim!

Our delicious food included of hotdogs, crabmeats, chicken wings (black pepper, chili, plain), cheese hotdogs, and last but not least, marsh mellow (BBQ type).

Almost everyone took out their own gadgets such as mobile phones, PSP, digital cameras and many more, to have fun and play around.

We also cooked food for the classmates. We also got take turns to cook, and let the other bunch of people to taste and rate which one is nicer. The result came out that, both groups of chef has the same scores. DRAW!

And one of the shocking things, one of our groups of chefs, cooked hotdog, than one of our classmates says it’s not nice. So that classmate put the hotdog (with 1 bite) put on the plate. Than shocking is, one crow come and took away the hotdog (as he aimed quite a long time) and hide under some bench and enjoy the food. The whole bunch of classmates laughed loudly and crazily. So is that an omen or what?

After all that funny stuffs we’re now down to playing cards. Hmmm, not poker cards but...

UNO!

We were having a really great time as we compete each other with UNO. In the end, the “banker” loses.

Well, as we booked out pit at Area F, where its super far away from the middle of East Coast Park (Area C), Mr. Sim took about 1 hour plus to reach Area F (as well as other friends coming from Area C). So we’ve to prepare the food that we left over (new package) for Mr. Sim. So that when he reached, he could enjoy the food.

But, really, Mr. Sim took a long time no reach Area F (more than an hour). I guess that because his sons also quite tired, so maybe got rest.

When Mr. Sim reached our pit, he complained to Alex that his pit area is too far. Well, he’s being nagging the same things for more than 15 minutes (that’s what teacher is good about, nagging. :P)

After his nagging session, Wan Ting (one of the chef) serves up hotdog and chicken wings for Mr. Sim and his family.

One interesting things that we realized is, while he is eating, he still can talk about school things. Well, as a students like us, holiday doesn’t talk about school things. We quickly tell Mr. Sim that “Mr. Sim, today is school holiday okay, school hasn’t start yet, so talk about that.” And we gave a J face to Mr. Sim.

Now, it’s really nothing to do now. So at the ending part of this BBQ session, we’re playing a game called “Ultimate Password” (direct translation from Chinese. J).
Game rule is let one people think the number (but we key into the mobile phone, in case we forgot) and let the rest guess. But, cannot guess correctly as you’ll be “punished” with those disgusting drinks like this…

This drink or you may call it as soup, is a mixture of Coke, Sprite, Sarsi, Soda, chili, and lots of butter (which you apply on the food when it’s cooking) mixed together.

And of course, mostly guys are there, so we don’t play a FEW rounds, but LOTS of round. The loser (who guessed the number) will need to drink 3 little sips, or 1 BIG sip on the “soup”. And of course, the game players INCLUDE our VIP, MR. SIM H.C.!

The “winners” who guessed the right number given by host (Wan Ting & Mr. Sim (1 round only )) were Amos, Daryl, Lim Teng, Chee Hwee, Ming Keat, Daryl (again) and of course, MR. SIM!

Actually, there were 2 different “soups” of the day. We started with those soft drinks without the butter. Ming Keat is the last person who drinks the NORMAL soup. As for Daryl (second time) and Mr. Sim, they drank the “soup” that is with butter. Eww!

As we had fun, the time come at then is around 11:30pm plus already. So Mr. Sim scared that the last bus gone, so better run first. Than, we all packed up and go to Area C so that can go out of East Coast Park. While walking, Amos walked very fast. Than, Daryl also starting go walk fast too. So in the end, I think that they were “competing” to see who walk faster. But in the end, they walk a longer way out.

When reached around Area C, there’s an overhead bridge linked to Marine Parade. Therefore, Wee Jinn and Mr. Sim walked to the overhead bridge. Than, left Lim Teng, Daryl, Amos, Wan Ting, Alex, Chee Hwee, Ming Keat and Zuo Hao.

Well, we all stop at McDonald to buy some drinks and some food. And at there, we walked separate way.

In this team bonding a.k.a BBQ Event, we’ve learnt to bond with each other and to know each other better. And we had lots of fun when gathering together.
